Beginning the Research Process
This page will provide you with all general handouts, required documents, forms, and training materials from the initial training session in October of junior year to your second supervisor conference scheduled for February.
As noted in the training sessions, you are required to read and understand the guidelines, rules, and regulations as they pertain to your EE: See the tab "Subject Presentation/guides" in addition to the student subject guide provided below.
These following files cover all forms, permission slips, and documents needed to begin and follow the EE process. Students who are absent during any training must make an appointment promptly with the coordinator:

The following include supplemental handouts on building a great EE topic and research question, each of which may be helpful depending on your subject matter:

Your supervisor will request that you complete the "EE Question Proposal" handout at Supervisor Meeting #1 or Supervisor Meeting #2. In either case, make sure you print it off, fill it out, and sign it prior to the meeting.

The following handouts may or may not be utilized by your supervisors; however, they can provide you with helpful places to find academic information online for your background and primary research through scholarly search engines rather than google or yahoo. The ongoing keyword list is of particular use in keeping track of Boolean searches:
